Fatima Sherjan, originally from Pakistan is based in Dubai, UAE for the past 13 years. Fatima is a business graduate and did her Bachelors in Business Administration from Lahore School of Economics in 2008.   She took art as a passion and as an expression to honour her inner self as she has  always had a flair for art since childhood. She has taken various courses from Dubai International Art School and calligraphy lessons from a renowned teacher based in the UAE.

For Fatima, art is something which has changed the complete dimension of life for her and since the day she picked up the paint brush, everything just fell in place and there has been no looking back. Fatima believes that art is the best way to put her dreams out there for the world to see. Her art involves a lot of color as she strongly thinks that colors tell a story. She is highly fascinated by flowers as to her flowers are overwhelmingly beautiful and we all need beauty in life. Fatima’s art style usually involves abstract art , vibrant colors and a-lot of texture. She does a lot of islamic and Arabic art as well. Her work depicts her love for art and the joy she feels while she is working, is evident in every stroke of her work. Abstract medium is her most favorite where she believes she can just be herself and express with no boundaries what so ever! Fatima mixes islamic calligraphy with modern abstract backgrounds to magnify the power of Allah’s words and bring her work alive.
