Nadia Yoshioka, is an acrylic painter and she was born in Japan in 1997. Her first experience as an artist was in kindergarten in Japan when she would spend her days by coloring in the children coloring book. She has always been good in the arts since childhood and has won the UAE inter-school painting competition where she painted Burj Al Arab using poster paints. Her influences are blending colors to create depth and interest in any artwork. She also loves to enjoy the beauty of mother nature and this is what reflects in her artworks.
She soon realized that she wanted to pursue her career in this field.
Nadia believes that being an artist is something that one is born to do and not learned at school, she went on to study through practical experience, learning through trial and error and self learning studying the works of Will Kemp, Kristin Ellison, Mary Jane Begin, Feliks Kaparchuk and Emily Mackey as her teachers. She has taken courses online from these teachers on different painting techniques.
Nadia further expanded on her knowledge in painting landscapes, seascapes and abstracts, where she was selected amongst 100+ artists to exhibit her painting for a 5-star hotel in the UAE during an artist’s open call. Her paintings are affordable by everyone and have also been sold recently to owners in Dubai and Sharjah.
Nadia works primarily in acrylic paints and currently works from home where she has created her own little studio.
