PARAMES MCNEILL
Parames McNeill, had over 30 years of working experience in the corporate field before she embarked her art journey, which has been a turning point in her life. In order to share her experience and benefits she gained from art, Parames conducts Art N Exploration, Art N Virtues and Expression Art Programs. These programs enable individuals to express their emotions in a safe environment while discovering a part of themselves that is latent. To date she has conducted over 125 workshops and has had more than 1000 participants. Parames spends much of her time volunteering and teaching art at several NGOs including: Flame, My Shining Star Foundation and GOLD. Parames’s solo exhibitions titled Exploration, depict a series of explorative and explosive joyful paintings and Immerse Yourself reflected the experience of immersing oneself in the world of art and experiencing deep reflective moments.
Artist Statement : Spirituality and humanity holds a special place in my heart and it is for this reason that I am so drawn to art and working with people, especially the underprivileged. My artwork is predominantly abstract. I use a variety of materials and processes in each project. My technique allows for a free spirit approach to guide me which calms meallowing for waves of inspiration to influence and move through my paintings.
