Mahsa Namvar, is a Dubai-based photographer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and Architecture from the College of Fine Arts in the University of Sharjah. Born as a third culture Individual in the United Arab Emirates, she developed a sense of curiosity and passion towards the culture, lifestyle, art, festivities and history due to the sheer diversity of nationalities that live in the country. These are the driving forces that influence her photography, capturing the coexistence of these various cultures and the environment that encompasses them.
She is an artist who keeps refining her skills and faces any challenges that she comes across. As a result, she developed a knack for exploring, practicing various forms of art such as sketching, knitting, paper art and clay art at a very early stage of her life. Doing so motivated her to find one medium that she would express herself more and that’s when photography became a passion of hers.
According to her, taking part in different types of art opens up a sense of imagination to the user, to express feelings and emotions through this medium, finding beauty even in the simplest things and being to capture that moment.
