José Emilio Fuentes Fonseca (JEFF) is a Cuban artist born in Granma in 1974. Graduated from the Higher Institute of Art (ISA), he has developed his career as a visual artist and sculptor  in Havana, where he currently lives and runs his own gallery JEFF ART +
 
Jeff began studying art at the age of 13 and his work has consistently grown as a reflection of his own life experiences 
 
His sculpture use a inflated metal technique which he has developed over many years and become renowned for .
 
He has participated in several  exhibitions since 1994 in Havana, and has been invited to the X Havana Biennial every year since then. 
 
His works have been recognised with several awards throughout his artistic career especially by renowned Cuban cultural centers and organisations such as Wilfredo Lam Contemporary Art Center, Habana Gallery, A.H.S Antonia Eiriz, Ludwig Foundation. His art has been exhibited all over the world and currently has an exhibitions in Havana and New Orleans.
