The Candy is a piece that refers to the first years of Jeff life.Childhood is a recurring theme in his sculptural production. Candy, is an expression of dreams and desires fulfilled by that child. Jeff spent his childhood in a rural environment, surrounded by sugarcanes, an economic and commercial product very characteristic of Cuba. The candy from the sugar cane has been in his environment and he decided to take it out of his imagination to sculpt it through his inflated metal technique
