Meet the Artists of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2023: Ebdaa Al Hammadi

For many artists exhibiting at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, art is a beautifully created response to the deeply-rooted and uniquely rich traditions of the UAE. Inspired by these values, Ebdaa Alhammadi is a talented and aspiring artist in the evolving realm of art and culture. Her artistic journey began at the age of nine when she started drawing portraits and murals. With over nineteen years of creative experience in the field, Ebdaa continues to experiment in the school of realism.

She believes that art is like the sea, wide and deep, and it is a treasure for those who know how to navigate it. Ebdaa loves the intricate details of painting murals and portraits that embodies the cultural values humbly handed down by her ancestors. Since then, the artist has transformed her art to the stage of drawing the sea and its waves in particular, as their movement and colors radiate life and beauty.

Ebdaa has participated in many exhibitions and art gatherings, including the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2021 and the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2023, where she presented a live display of artistic murals in acrylic colors that express the vibrant culture of the United Arab Emirates.
